Spilling breaking downstream of a wing

Description

The study shows the experimental results on the spilling breaking due to a wing installed in a water flow in a channel. The study was carried out with a PIV system that enabled us to show the periodic vortex formation and the analysis of the free surface. The movies show the case of a standing wave and a spilling breaking.
